Katherine Ryan

Dr. Katherine Ryan is an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia. She received her PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she carried out structural biology studies with Catherine Drennan. In 2008, she joined Bradley Moore’s group at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography as a post-doctoral fellow. Ryan’s independent research group investigates the chemistry, enzymology, and structural biology of natural products biosynthesis in bacteria.
