Dr. Hiten Naik is an Internal Medicine physician and Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He completed medical school at the University of Toronto, residency training at UBC, and a Master of Science in Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The overarching goal of his research is to improve care for complex and vulnerable patients. Under the supervision of Dr. John Staples, his current project uses population-based health administrative data to study “before medically advised” hospital discharges.
