Anurag Singh is an academic nephrologist based in Northern Health, an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in the UBC Department of Medicine (Division of Nephrology) with an affiliate appointment with the Division of Medical Sciences at the University of Northern BC. Anurag serves in the administrative role as the inaugural Director of the tri-partite (UBC-NHA-UNBC) Northern Centre for Clinical Research and Medical Director for Kidney Services in Northern Health region.
Anurag is leading a health services research program in Northern BC that focuses on implementing strategies to promote health equity by integrating metrics in virtual care delivery models for rural, remote, and Indigenous residents and fostering a data-informed Learning Health System approach. Anurag understands the value of Indigenous partnerships and is keen to learn more about Indigenous knowledge ( ‘being’ and ‘knowing’) and is excited to incorporate Indigenous Knowledge and research methodology in developing and understanding health outcomes.
